SU Stars Blog Hop "Season of Friendship"

Welcome to the SU Stars Blog Hop!
If you would like to start at the beginning of our blog tour, go to the SU Stars blog here.
If you've been following the blog hop, you probably came from Deborah Robb's blog,
Read to the end to find the next stop.

When I decided that I would be making a card for autumn, I was excited!
I live in Arizona. We don't have autumn, at least not in Phoenix where I live.
There are no trees that change colors. No crisp fall mornings.
You see, I am a midwest girl.
I know all about caramel apples, crunchy leaves under your feet, and fall festivals.

When I think of fall, I think of the weather getting cooler.
Time to break out the long sleeves, sweaters and quilts.
So my card is based on a midwest quilt perfect for the fall season.
This card says fall to me.

I have decided I'm decorating for fall this year whether it looks like fall or not!
So, my Boyd's Bear friend joined the picture.
I hope you enjoy my card.

If you live somewhere where autumn exists, please go enjoy it for me!

Leave me a comment with your email address. One lucky winner will receive 10 pieces of cardstock cut with the Scallop Square exclusive Stampin Up die! If you are chosen and are a subscriber to my blog, you'll win 20 Scallop Squares!

I used the following Stampin Up products to make this card:

I love fall the best also, however, it is a sad reminder that summer is over and back to -30 weather shortly. The leaves are already falling here. I adore the card, I love patchwork. Thanks for sharing and hugs!

I want to make some of these!!!!! It is a really pretty card just perfect for fall. Fall is my favorite time of the year. Sweater weather suits me fine. And beautiful leaves are a treat for the eyes. I am going to make these cards I am, I am only if I win the cutouts from you.

Oh crap, I don't think my comment took! Anyway, I love your blog and I now subscribe - I thought I signed up before but I guess not. I hesitated when I saw "weiner dog" since I had to put my fur baby down last week but I am glad I clicked on! Love your stuff! This card is so great to use the little pieces I save! We will be having fall colors here in Iowa shortly which I treasure! Love the Boyd's bear with her little sweater and hat. I think I will try and creat a fun card and have one of my bears share it! Thanks for a fun card and a great blog.

P.S. if my other comment took - well, does it give me two chances to win some fun papers?

Love the look of this card! What a treat on the eyes. I'm going to need to try one of these. However, my Boston Terriers are jealous of your Weiner dog signature!

Your card and colors have me feeling warm and toasty in our suddenly cooler Southern Oregon weather. Fall has definitely arrived here and the leaves are turning and falling - the pine cones too! Sending autumn leafy thoughts your way. Wonderful you can create your own corner of Midwest Fall even in the sunny Southwest!

Love this card - the colors, the patterns, the feelings I get when I look at it ... and the bear is so cute too! Quilt cards are such fun to make - so many options. Today in Michigan is rainy so thoughts of Fall and Winter are upon us. Thanx for sharing with us.

Awesome, I love your patchwork quilt and I live in the east and I love the changing of colors. Your colors remind me of what is coming.
Are you going to do a tutorial on your card?

Absolutely Beautiful! I Love it! Thanks so much for sharing, Angela.

I live in Florida, so we really don't get too much autumn here either, but your card gave me a great dose of it.

Frank please tell your mom what a fantastic job she did with this. Does she make real quilts? I bet you love lying on them. Hugs to you. Roscoe says woof to ya.
