Reverse Confetti Dreamcatcher

Hello, Friends!

Today I have a card for you that is made with lots of goodies from Reverse Confetti.  I have been a 'Fetti Fan since shortly after I moved back to Illinois 4 1/2 years ago when I first found them.  You're going to see more and more of their products here which include stamps, dies and stencils.  Recently, they added ink pads, card stock and pattered paper to their collection, as well.  They have a lot of super cute animal stamps, which for those of you who have been following my blog for a long time, know I love!  I've made cards with their products before.  If you'd like to see them, you can go to my blog, look on the left side and find the Reverse Confetti listings under "labels."  The stamp set I used today was a bit different than what I am usually drawn to, but I really, really liked it when it was introduced a few months ago.  It is called Boho Vibes.  Here is a picture of it and a link to it in the Reverse Confetti store

I thought this set was pretty and offered so many different possibilities!  I loved the dreamcatcher, the different feathers, arrows and sentiments!

When I saw some challenges that this set would work for, I got right to work!  One of the things I liked was that there was also patterned paper that matched the feathers, as well as other gorgeous neutral colored patterned papers.

You can see from the card I used lots of layers of patterned papers and card stock.  I googled dreamcatchers to see what a traditional dreamcatcher looked like.  I used one that had lots of browns and grays in it for my inspiration.  I knew I wanted to emboss the dreamcatcher, but it isn't good for your Copics to color where they might touch embossing as it will ruin the tips.  (I learned this in a Copic Marker class!)  So, using the MISTI, I lined up my stamp with the die cut.  I stamped it in Memento Desert Sand Die Ink.  This ink pad is Copic Friendly and a light brown so I could see where the lines would be.  I colored in the feathers and the dreamcatcher hoop.  When I was done, I put it back in the MISTI and stamped it again in a gray pigment ink.  It lined up perfectly and now I could emboss the gray ink with clear embossing powder.  I embossed the word "dream" and the dreamcatcher just to make things a little more interesting!  I also added three drops of Glossy Accents to replicate the three circles in the Reverse Confetti Sketch Challenge.  It took a while for them to dry, but it was worth it to get the pretty little clear drops.  I adhered the final layers of paper and cardstock and attached my dreamcatcher with foam mounting tape so it would stand up from the card a little bit.  This completed my card!

I am entering my card in a few different challenges.  First, I used the Reverse Confetti Sketch Challenge #52 here for my design.  I used the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge here for my theme.

The challenge at Just Add Ink seen here is to add something to your card that starts with the letter "D."  I've got that covered with my dreamcatcher!  Finally,  the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge here is Stamp It.  I stamped my sentiment and dreamcatcher, so it qualifies for this challenge as well.

I hope you've been able to get some quality stamping time
in this weekend like I have.

Happy Stamping, Friends!

Dreamy, sorry I couldn't help myself. I really like the cool and well, dreamy colors. The dew drop things look great with the dream catcher. Fun and different instead of a flower, animal, etc. How fun to see you continuing with your challenges.
