TSSC194 and LNS Challenge Out On A Limb

Hello, Stampers!

I have to admit, I'm not much of a Halloween person.  It's cute and fun for the kids (and a cute little wiener dog in his costume!)  However, I don't decorate and go all out for it (except for the cute little wiener dog in his costume.)

Even though I'm not a Halloween enthusiast, I do love this cute little witch from the "Out on a Limb" stamp set.  So, I used her to create this card for our Halloween challenge over on Late Night Stampers.  Mary Jo's Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge gave me the design for my card.  It think it turned out cute!

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

Out on a Limb and Tiny Tags Stamp Sets
Early Espresso and Basic Black Classic Inks
Pumpkin Pie, Basic Gray, and Basic Black Stampin' Write Markers
Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie, and Basic Black Card Stock
Pick Your Poison Designer Series Paper
Pick Your Poison Quick Accents
Circle Scissor Plus

TSSC174 Word Play Challenge

Hello, Stampers! I hope you had a great weekend and are well-rested and ready for another week! I combined two challenges to make this card. First, Mary Jo's Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge provided the sketch for this card. I can imagine doing so many different cards with this sketch. It's a great one!
The color challenge came from my misunderstanding! The challenge was to use 2 colors from Stampin Up's Subtle Collection along with Early Espresso. You could also use Whisper White or Very Vanilla, but that's all. Well, I was thinking the Neutral collection instead of the Subtles one! So, I decided to use Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, and Early Espresso. Even my embellishments came from those colors. It wasn't from the actual challenge, but it ended up being a nice Monochromatic card! I hope you like it!
Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products on this card:

5/8" Early Espresso Satin Ribbon

TSSC154 and PPA63 Aviary Challenges

I am so happy to announce that I will be playing along with the Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge each Monday. I love a good sketch and Mary Jo always delivers! Please join in with her sketches each week as well! You can find them right here.

I had also seen this color challenge on Pals Paper Arts that I really liked. I love the happy look this combination gives.

After combining both challenges, here is the card I created. I hope you enjoy it.
To give the Pear Pizzazz a little texture, I punched circles out of the same color paper and glued them to my original card stock background.

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

Aviary and Tiny Tags Clear Mount Stamp Sets
Melon Mambo, Peach Parfait, and Basic Black Classic Inks

TGIF! Sketch Frenzy Friday Butterfly Prints

To say that I'm glad it's Friday would be an understatement. I am really glad it's Friday. It's been a long busy week. I've gotten a lot done but Friday is my day off. Then we have church Saturday and Sunday and then Monday is another day off. I'm definitely looking forward to the little break.

My card tonight was more like a 10 minute challenge that took 40 because I was tired. It's a simple card, but I think it turned out cute. :) I like the happy colors and butterflies. I inked my butterfly with Melon Mambo and then stamped it three times. Each time gave a softer version of it. They all match because they all started from the same source.

I used the following Stampin Up supplies to make this card:

Butterfly Prints and Tiny Tags Stamp Sets
Melon Mambo Classic Ink
Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, and Melon Mambo Card Stock
Butterfly, Jewelry Tag, and Scallop Edge Border Punches
Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folders
Big Shot

To see the next great card made with this sketch, check out Brenda's blog next.
Be sure to make your own card based on this sketch and upload it to http://www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com/.
