A Word For You, Flower Fest

Hello, Friends!

On Monday, I shared a card I made after stamping a whole sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock with the "Flower Fest" stamp set.

This is another card I made using another piece of that background.  You'll notice a lot of birthday cards while I'm trying to get ahead on everyone's birthdays coming up!

To give this card some dimension and make it a little more fancy, I stamped the big round flower four times in Pool Party.  I cut three of the layers out and adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals.  They will flatten out a little bit in the mail but will still give the card some depth.  I also colored in some of the flower petals and leaves lightly to make it stand out from the background.  Since my background was already finished, it didn't take long to make this birthday card.

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin Up products to make this card:

Flower Fest and A Word For You Stamp Sets
Lucky Limeade, Always Artichoke, Pool Party, Island Indigo, Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant Classic Inks
Very Vanilla, Pool Party and Island Indigo Card Stock
Paper Snips

SFF Button Buddies

Hello, Friends!
This week I made a simple birthday card for our Sketch Frenzy Friday Challenge. I used the set, "Button Buddies." I also used this set on Monday, July 11th for the little pig birthday card. Although you can use it without adding the buttons, each stamp in this set is designed to be used with Stampin' Up buttons. I think the buttons on the cherries make this card extra cute!

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up supplies to make this card:

Button Buddies and A Word for You Stamp Sets
Real Red and Garden Green Stampin' Write Markers
Whisper White, Real Red, and Garden Green Card Stock
Brights Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack
Brights Buttons
White Baker's Twine

Now, check out Deb Currier's blog at www.artfeltimpressions.blogspot.com to see the card she created with today's sketch. Then, make your own and share it with us at www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com.

SFF Tart and Tangy

Happy Friday, Everyone!

I'm featuring another retiring stamp set today in this Sketch Frenzy Friday Challenge. "Tart and Tangy" features these cherries, an apple, a strawberry, and a citrus fruit that can be an orange, lemon, lime, or even a grapefruit. I love using the cherries with this sentiment. I'll miss you "Tart and Tangy!"

Happy Stamping!

LNS Challenge Redo

Finally, I like this card! This is my third try at it and there's finally one I can tolerate- even like!

I didn't like the first one at all. The balance just wasn't right. I don't know what else is wrong with it, but I know I didn't like it.

So, I moved the flowers over and over and came up with a little bit of a better version, but I still wasn't overly happy with it.

But now, the yellow card finally makes me happy. It's simple but happy. Just the way I like 'em.
If there's a card driving you nuts, don't give up. Try again. In my case, the third time was a charm!

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

SFF Tart and Tangy Birthday Share

Hello and Happy Sketch Frenzy Friday to you!

This was a fun birthday card I made for a special friend. We're both trying to lose weight so it would be wrong to send her a card with cupcakes all over it. So, instead, I'm sending a card with healthy cherries on top instead. I like that it's bright and happy looking and hope she has a very happy birthday!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

Tart and Tangy and A Word for You Stamp sets
Real Red and Garden Green Stampin' Write Markers
Whisper White and Real Red Cardstock
Brights Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack
Decorative Label Extra Large Punch
1/8" Real Red Taffeta Ribbon

Now check out Deb Currier's card here. Then make your own and show us at http://www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com/.
