Wedding Card Featuring Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder

Hello, Friends!

I have been missing some of my usual days to post on my blog because I haven't been feeling very well.  As it turns out, I have been overmedicated with my thyroid hormones and I feel awful!  There were some signs, but I attributed the tiredness and achy feeling with other causes.  So, if my stamping is sporatic, I'm still here.  Just dealing with exhaustion and severe muscle pain.

This card was actually for last Wednesday, but I didn't get it on my blog in time, so now it's Monday's card instead!  I took the picture from the side so you could see the embossing better.  It's for a very sweet Mr. and Mrs. that serve in the elementary ministry.

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

Petite Pairs Stamp Set
Basic Black Classic Ink
Whisper White and Basic Black Card Stock
1/4" Whisper White Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon
Circle Punches
Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder
Big Shot
Basic Pearls

SFF and LNS Challenge Lots of Layers with Fan Fair DSP

Hello, Friends!

I made today's card for a couple that I work with at church.  The husband recently had a tumor removed that showed he had stage 3 colon cancer.  His wife works with me in the children's ministry here at church as well.  They are a very special couple that everyone cares about a lot.  I needed a card that was suitable for a man and a woman for my elementary leaders to sign for them.  This is what I came up with using today's Sketch Frenzy Friday sketch.  It also has lots of layers so it fits our Late Night Stampers challenge as well.

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

Petite Pairs Stamp Set
Island Indigo Classic Ink
Very Vanilla, Island Indigo, Crumb Cake, and Early Espresso Card Stock
Fan Fair Designer Series Paper
1/8" Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon

Now check out Deb Currier's blog at www.artfeltimpressions.blogspot.com to see the card she created with this sketch.  Then, make your own and share it with us at www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com.

SFF Summer Afternoon

Hello, Friends!

I am finally feeling better.  I apologize for disappearing here lately.  Hopefully, I am on the mend and will have plenty of time for stamping!

Today's sketch is from our Sketch Frenzy Friday challenge.  I wanted to use my new stamp set, "Summer Afternoon" for this card.  So I turned the sketch sideways and it worked perfectly.  Unfortunately, I know several people right now who are going through some rough challenges.  I'm not sure who I will send it to, but hopefully it will brighten someone's day.

I've already made Monday's card, so come back then and check it out.  It's pretty cute, if I do say so myself.

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

Summer Afternoon and Petite Pairs Stamp Sets
Calypso Coral, Cherry Cobbler, Tangerine Tango, More Mustard, Lucky Limeade, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Basic Gray Classic Inks
 Black Stazon Ink
Whisper White, Tangerine Tango and Lucky Limeade Card Stock

SQSC37 Flower Fest

Hello Friends!

It's Wednesday already so that means it's time for a Stampin' Queens card!
Today, I used the retiring set, "Flower Fest" to make a belated birthday card for my sweet friend, Debra.  She can always put a smile on my face, so I wanted to make a happy card for her.  I've already given it to her along with lunch at Pei Wei, one of our favorite restaurants.  She liked the card (and the lunch) so it was a success!

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

Flower Fest and Petite Pairs Stamp Sets
Bravo Burgundy, Poppy Parade, and Peach Parfait Classic Inks
Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait and Daffodil Delight Card Stock

SQSC10 Four Frames and Gently Falling

Hello, Friends!

I used the sketch this week from Stampin' Queens to make this fall card.  It is so simple, yet I love how it turned out.  Because of the leaves, it also fits the LNS Challenge to create a project with leaves or trees.

When I was looking for a sentiment to fit into the "Four Frames" set, "no matter what" really stuck out to me.  I'm not sure who this card will go to eventually, but I know I will be able to tell them I'm here, no matter what.
Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede Classic Inks

SFF Perfectly Penned with Paisley Petals DSP

Hello, Friends!

I have to admit something.  This is the fastest card I've ever made.  It's actually Thursday, my day off, and I've been stamping a lot today to get ahead on my blog postings.  So, when I went to put my card on for Friday, which starts in a couple of hours, I realized I had made the wrong card for this week's sketch.  (On the bright side, the next two Friday's cards are finished!)

So, now it's getting late, I'm tired, ready for bed, and just found out I needed a different card.  Thanks to Stampin' Up for making products that all work together.  A couple of Designer Series Papers and stamp sets and my card was complete.  Now it's Thursday nite nite for me.  See you in the morning when you read this!

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

CCMC170 and LNS Color Challenge Hello, Doily

Hello, Friends!

Happy Monday to you all!  I wanted to start off the week with a card I created using the sketch challenge from Create with Connie and Mary.  It was a little out of my comfort range, but that's always a good thing.  The colors come from the LNS Challenge this week which is to use Night of Navy, Cajun Craze, River Rock, and Neutrals.  These are also out of my comfort zone, but I really like the way they turned out.

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin Up products to make this card:

HSS82 and SFF Hello Doily

Hello, Friends!

I hope you are as excited for the Labor Day weekend as I am!  It's too hot in Arizona to do much outside.  Okay, anything outside.  So, I'm looking forward to a peaceful, relaxing weekend.  It's been a busy month!  My plan is to clean and do household things on Friday and Saturday so I can spend time with friends and stamp on Sunday and Monday.  I hope you, too, have a safe and happy weekend!

My card today for the Sketch Frenzy Friday challenge features the "Hello, Doily" background stamp.  Because I used shades of purple, it also fits the monochromatic challenge on the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog.  When I first saw it, I decided I didn't need it because it was similar to the Medallion background stamp.  Then, I saw card after card made with it.  Every time I saw it, that stamp would remind me of the doilies my Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma had made.  It instantly takes me back to their homes as a little kid watching them crochet.  With my Grandma's birthday coming up in a couple of weeks, I knew I wanted to make a special card for her with it.  I hope she likes it!

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

Hello, Doily Background Stamp and Petite Pairs Stamp Sets
Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink
Confetti White, Wisteria Wonder, and Elegant Eggplant Card Stock
3/8" Wisteria Wonder Ruffled Ribbon
Large Oval and Scallop Oval Punches

Now check out Deb Currier's blog, http://www.artfeltimpressions.blogspot.com/, to see the card she made with this sketch.  Then make your own card and share it with us on http://www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com/
