SFF Friends Fur-ever

Hello, Friends!
I've chosen another retiring stamp set and retiring paper to feature in today's card.  I decided to take a bright and fun approach to today's sketch.  This is the card I created.  You know I love any dog stamps so I had to make one more card with the little scotties in Friends Fur-ever.  Break out your favorite stamps and make a card for someone you love!

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

Friends Fur-ever Stamp Set
Real Red Classic Ink
Black Stazon Ink
Real Red, River Rock, Tempting Turquoise, Crumb Cake, and Basic Gray Stampin' Write Markers
Whisper White, Real Red, and Tempting Turquoise Card Stock
Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper
Circle Scissors Plus
Circle Punches
1/4" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon
Blender Pens

Now, check out Deb Currier's card that she made with this sketch at www.artfeltimpressions.blogspot.com.  Then, create a card of your own and share it with us at www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com

Friends Fur-ever When Life is Ruff

You had to know that when Stampin Up made this cute dog set, I would need to have it. That's right. Need.

I love my wiener dog the most, but I like all dogs. I like a dog that you can tell is happy by the look on his or her face. Dogs make the world a better place.

Fur-ever Friends has a lot of "accessories" that come with it. There is a dog bone, a dog dish, a flower, a chair, a wagon, the heart on this card, and the list goes on. I like them all, but I really liked the sentiment, "sorry life's ruff right now."

We all face rough times and we all know people who are in the middle of them right now. So, I thought this would be a cute, simple card just to keep on hand for someone who would need it. I made it with scraps I had laying on the table after making other creations, but I like the simple nature of it and the different colors that I wouldn't usually put together.

I used the following Stampin' Up supplies to make this card:

Friends Fur-ever Stamp Set
Basic Black Classic Ink
Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Soft Suede, and Bravo Burgundy Stampin' Write Markers
Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Soft Suede, and Bravo Burgundy Card Stock
Word Window Punch
Gold Brad
Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

VC Rocks Friends Fur-ever

This is VC Rocks fourth blog tour of the summer. VC Rocks is a group that meets online every summer. We have amazing swaps, informative classes, and best of all make new stamping friends. The only bad thing about it is that it only meets during the summer and it's almost time to end it until next year. Of course, you can always continue to email and keep in touch, but the group as a whole will not meet.
So, it seemed appropriate to make this card for our final blog hop. I'm not overly vocal on the group, but I love hearing how everyone is doing, praying for each other when tough times hit, sharing laughs, and seeing the fantastic cards and other items this talented group of ladies make.
We are friends fur-ever.

I used the following Stampin Up supplies to make this card:
Friends Fur-ever Stamp Set
Melon Mambo, Pacific Point and Basic Black Classic Inks
Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Sahara Sand, and Basic Gray Card Stock
Jewelry Tag Medium Punch
Scallop Square Bigz Clear Die
1 1/4" Striped Daffodil Grosgrain Ribbon

If your on the VC Rocks blog tour, you probably came from Terri Tank's blog "My Stamp Vault." The next blog on the tour belongs to Ellen Kemper. You can find it by Blinkin', Thinkin', and Inkin'.
If you'd like to start at the very beginning, click to go to the VC Rocks homepage where you'll find some great cards there, too!
