Hello, Friends!
Tomorrow is Surgery Number 2 of 2015. I'll have my left meniscus which is torn repaired. I'm not worried about the surgery at all. I am sure the doctor and all will be fine. What I am concerned about is being in more pain. You'd think by now I'd know I could handle it but I don't feel that way on Sunday night. :)
I'm also concerned because I have no upper body strength but that will be my way to get around for awhile. I still can't lift a gallon of milk (I can't even lift a half of gallon of milk) because I wasn't allowed to do any physical therapy after my back surgery because my knee was already damaged. Now, after surgery, I will have to lift myself with a walker (no way I can use crutches) using my hands and jumping with my right leg to get around. Needless to say, in our two story house, I will be marooned upstairs in my bedroom, my parents bedroom or the bathroom! Our house is not huge, but it's too big for me to get from my bedroom, down a flight of stairs and to the other side of the house where we all usually hang out. I just don't have the upper body strength to lift myself up and down the stairs, let alone all the way through our house. I am concerned about having even less physical contact with the outside world than I have already.
So, please keep me in your prayers. I know God will hear each and every one of them.
I do have some bad news though. Even though I've worked very hard to cards made and photographed and kept the details of all of the products I used to make them, my laptop died and I wasn't able to get all of the posts made. Luckily, I already had this card loaded so you could get it. So, this will be my last post for a while. You'll have to hold on for wiener dog pictures, too. At least I know that will keep you coming back! :)
I found this stamp set from Art Impressions a couple of weeks ago and just had to have it. It's perfect for anyone having surgery or anything medical going on with a doctor present. Trust me. If a doctor is present, the wallet will have to come out. Otherwise, the card is pretty self-explanatory.
So until we meet again, I pray that God will be with all of you and take care of you just like He will be taking card of me. God bless you all!
Happy Stamping, Friends!
