FTL190 and LNS Paper Glorious Paper Challenges Three Little Words

Hello, Friends!

This is my belated Mother's Day card.  Last week was crazy and I didn't have time to stamp. My Mom will actually see this card in her inbox before she sees it in her mailbox.  So...
Happy Mother's Day, Mom!
Frank and I love you very much!

Today's sketch comes from Clean and Simple Stamping.  Our Late Night Stampers Challenge this week is to feature Designer Series Paper.  My colors came from that challenge, creating my card around Stampin' Up's "Cheerful Treat" Designer Series Paper.  The stamps are from two more retiring sets, "Greenhouse Garden" and "Three Little Words."  The stamps and paper are only available through the end of May.

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

Greenhouse Garden and Three Little Words Stamp Sets
Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo and Lucky Limeade Classic Inks
Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo and Lucky Limeade Card Stock
Cheerful Treat Designer Series Paper
2 3/8" Scallop Circle
Circle Scissors Plus

HSSIC28 Colorful Expanding Star

Every summer, I enjoy VC Rocks. The VC stands for "Virtual Convention." Those of us who are Stampin Up demonstrators or just Stampin Up lovers participate in swaps, games, online chats, and online courses.
Shari Dudek taught a class this year on the "Expanding Star Card." You can find directions to make your own Expanding Star Card on Shari's website "Shari's Stamp Pad" by clicking here.

I've also been trying to stretch my stamping abilities so I have been looking online for challenges.
I found this challenge on Hand Stamped Sentiments. The challenge comes from a page in a Pottery Barn catalog and you could create anything- card, 3D item, etc. as long as it was inspired by this page.

Well, when I saw the HSSIC challenge, I knew it was time for the challenge and the Expanding Star to meet! I hope you like it!

If you really like this and you'd like to reward me, please feel free to buy me that quilt from Pottery Barn. :)

I used the following Stampin Up supplies to make the Expanding Star:
Greenhouse Garden Stamp Set
(used to give the card stock some depth and design like material might have)
Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Tempting Turquoise, Pacific Point, and Night of Navy Card Stock
1/4" Night of Navy Grosgrain Ribbon
Bone Folder

Goodbye Summer Sun!

No, not the real summer sun. It's alive and well in Arizona, trust me!
Stampin Up is retiring several colors on June 30th.
Some I will miss more than others.
Summer Sun is one I don't know how I will stamp without.
It's bright, happy, and cheery.
It's perfect for summer flowers and fall leaves.
It's the colors of the little accent flowers on the card shown above.
So, this card is in honor of Summer Sun.

Goodbye, old friend! I'll miss you!

The following Stampin Up products were used to make this card:

Greenhouse Garden and Oval All Stamp Sets
Summer Sun (retiring 6-30), Melon Mambo, and Rich Razzleberry Inks
Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry Markers
Whisper White, Melon Mambo, and Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
Large Oval and Scallop Oval Punches
Rich Razzleberry 1/2" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon
