Reverse Confetti's Here's the Scoop!

Hello, Friends!

I have a confession to make.  I am a rule follower.  If the sign says "No cell phones while you're in the doctor's office." I do not use my phone while I'm in the doctor's office.  At Harry and David's, a delicious food store, when the lady brought the free samples by recently, she said, "Have you had these before?"  She did not ask if I wanted one, but if I had had one.  Instead of just taking one of the fabulous chocolate covered fruit pieces, I confessed that I had had them before but my Dad (who continues to have to be my driver while I'm on pain medicine)  hadn't.  I wasn't going to take one either, until she told us one was pineapple.  I had not had the pineapple one, so I felt okay taking a pineapple piece.  I am a rule follower.

Recently, I made the rule, "If I could make something with my Cricut, I did not need to buy a die."  For example, if I can make a snowman with my Cricut, I don't need to buy a stand-alone snowman die.  (If the dies match a stamp set or are something like rectangles that I'll use over and over, this would still be okay.  Let's not get ridiculous, shall we?)   I was following my rule very carefully and honestly until Reverse Confetti had a sale recently.

Isn't this ice cream cone the cutest?  It is so adorable.  The die that cuts the ice cream topping is so creative.  You cut the top of your ice cream die a second time and then use the wavy line to cut the bottom of it, so you can put as much or as little of a topping as you want.  It's not just one set size that you have to use.  Look at the cherry and it's teeny tiny stem.  It's so sweet!

The first problem in this was "sale."  I am a sucker for a sale.  There's a lot of stuff I like, so if I wait for a sale, I can get more things I like for less money.  There are very few things I like enough to pay full price if I can wait until they are on sale and I have been known to wait for years for a sale.

The second problem was "cute."  It's soooo cute.  Look at how cute this die is.  It's not just a regular ice cream cone.  It's an extra-special cute ice cream cone.  Also, I love ice cream.  I prefer my ice cream in a cup, but this die set also comes with a cup!!!

I am only human and I can only resist so much!
If you put something extra cute on sale, I blame
YOU
for tempting me beyond what any normal person can tolerate!!!

Besides, rules are made to be broken, right?

No matter who's fault it is that I did not resist temptation, I'm glad I didn't!  :)
This ice cream die is cute and it made a cute card with words from the Reverse Confetti set "Love and Ice Cream."

Thanks, Reverse Confetti!  Feel free to lead me into stamp/die temptation anytime with products as great as these!  Thanks for the August sketch that helped create this card, as well.  You can find more information about the sketch here.

Love your card! There are a lot of ice cream cone stamps and dies out there and after awhile they do sort to resemble each other. But, this is extra fun with topping plus a cup. Seriously that cherry stem is the best I have seen! Fun! We have to treat ourselves once in awhile. I love the accompanying sentiment stamps. Plus, your personal story was fun too. Yum, chocolate and pineapple!
