Avery Elle Hello Muse

Hello, Friends!

I have another surprise Sunday card for you two weeks in a row.  You just never know when a new card is going to show up here!

Today's card is based on this week's Muse card on the Muse Challenge Blog.

When I saw this card, I loved the clean and simple design.  In the Muse challenge, you are to create your own card that is inspired by the Muse card.  Some people are great at thinking outside of the box.  I still think pretty well inside the box, but I'm trying to get more creative with my Muse card.

I used stamps from two Avery Elle sets to create my card.  Using the MISTI, it was super easy to line up all of my stamps and make sure they were in line with each other.  I used Memory Luxe inks to stamp my design.  They are pigment inks, but they dry quickly without a heat gun.  I love them because they have great coverage which is especially important when the inked images take center stage on a card like this.  I added a Thick Baker's Twine bow and my card was complete.

Using bright colors, this would make a great birthday card, anniversary card or a congratulations card.  You could use pinks or blues for a baby card.  With darker colors, it would even make a nice sympathy card.  Another thing you could do is stamp one of each of those cards and put them together in a set as a gift or for sale.

I am also entering my card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Tie It Up Challenge to add a bow or knot to your creation!

I hope you enjoyed this little Sunday surprise!  I'll see you back here on Monday!

Happy Stamping!

I used the following products to make this card:

Petals and Stems and Laurels Stamp sets by Avery Elle
Love Letter, Pear Tart and Teal Zeal Memento Luxe Ink Pads by Tsukineko
Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine by Stampin' Up
MISTI by My Sweet Petunia
