Lawnscaping Challenge 96 "Walking in A..."

Hello, Friends and
Merry Christmas Eve!

From the forecast, it looks like a lot of us in the United States may be walking in a winter wonderland during the next few days, just like the song says.  That's not for me, though.  I'd rather be walking in a wiener wonderland!  I had this idea in my head for months and finally put it to paper in a clean and simple design.  I've made a black and tan wiener dog, a blonde wiener dog, and a red wiener dog, which of course is Frankfurter.  Blonde dachshunds are very rare, but there are some out there.  I've seen pictures on Pinterest and they are beautiful.  Not as cute as Frank, of course, but still pretty!  I was going to make this as a card, but the words and my wiener dogs were just a little too squished.  If you know wiener dogs, you know they like their space to stretch out!  I never make larger scenes like this and only make cards, so this was a bit of a stretch for me.  After my wiener dogs were happily walking (and running) through their wonderland, I framed my picture in a floating frame.

That's right!  I left the house, which is a big deal with my back issues, and went and found this frame.  It worked perfectly since my project wasn't an exact size like 5x7 or 8x10.  (It is centered on the glass, but I had to take the picture just a little bit crooked because it wasn't glare proof glass in the frame.  Trust me- you didn't want to see me in my pajamas with the camera trying to get a good picture!  LOL!)

I will be entering my wiener dog project in the Lawnscaping Challenge 96 for a "Merry Christmas."  The wiener dog stamp, alphabet stamps, little snowflake stamps, dies, and patterned paper all come from Lawn Fawn, the company sponsoring this challenge.

This will also be my last entry at Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Blog Challenge "Winter Inspiration.  Hopefully Simon the dog will like my dogs!

I hope you all have a safe and wonderful Christmas eve and as always,
Happy Stamping!
