PCCS51 Flower Shop and Feel Goods

Hello, Friends!

I love the new Stampin' Up paper, "Afternoon Picnic."  It has a quilted design and is beautiful.  I wanted to pair it with the flowers from, "Flower Shop."  My flowers are placed a little bit differently from the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch, but I like how it turned out.  The reminder that "The best things in life aren't things" seemed like the perfect sentiment to go with this cozy card.

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

VC Rocks New Catalog Blog Hop with Perfect Blend

Hello, Friends!

Welcome to the third VC Rocks blog hop for 2013!  In this hop, you can see projects made with new items from the 2013-2014 Stampin' Up catalog.  You can see all of the wonderful items made by going to www.vcrocks.blogspot.com.

My project is a card I made with the new stamp set "Perfect Blend" and the new Designer Series Paper, "Gingham Garden."  I've also used the new punch, "Artisan Label."  The stamp set "Perfect Blend" is so cute and great for anyone with a major or minor addiction to coffee!  It was easy to cut out and paper piece together so it had an "actual" wrapper around the cup and a different colored lid.  My cup is stamped on "Gingham Garden" DSP which comes in the same package as the striped background.  I love that Stampin' Up products go together so you don't have to worry about mixing patterns.  The bright pink background really makes the cup show up.  I stamped my sentiment and punched it out with the "Artisan Label" punch.  It was too big on it's own, so I put the punched piece on the sticky part of a sticky note and stuck it in the punch again to get a smaller piece.  I put it on with Stampin' Dimensionals to give it some height and now I have a cute card to send to someone special!  Don't you just love new Stampin' Up products?!!

My sketch comes from Mary Jo's Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.  Now, don't forget to check out the other projects made for our VC Rocks New Catalog Blog Hop at www.vcrocks.blogspot.com

Happy Stamping!

SFF Sketched Birthday

Hello, Friends!
I was so happy to make a card for Sketch Frenzy Friday this week.  Even better, I was able to break out some new supplies from Stampin' Up's 2013-2014 catalog.  I love the new birthday set, "Sketched Birthday."  It has 8 designs just as cute as the balloon!  Even more, I love the balloon background paper behind it.  It comes from "Birthday Basics" Designer Series Paper pack.  There are the balloons, party hats, candles, numbers, and more.  Since it's double sided, if you don't like the pattern on one side, you can always use the other.  Although, the rainbow balloons are just too cute to not use!
You can check out the other cards made from this sketch at www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com.  I've seen them all and they are all great!
Happy Stamping!
I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:
Birthday Sketches and Four You Stamp Sets
Raspberry Ripple and Summer Starfruit Classic Inks
Very Vanilla, Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, and Bermuda Bay Card Stock
Brights Candy Dots

Check back on Saturday for another card!
