SFF Fresh Vintage and Kindness Matters

Hello, Friends!

Happy Friday!  My week has been busy, but has gone by fast.  There's a lot going on right now in my world!  Luckily, I had time to make the card that goes along with this week's Sketch Frenzy Friday sketch.  I changed the bottom sentiment a little bit.  I couldn't get the "Thanks" to look right in the bottom corner.  I haven't used the paper tearing technique for a long time, but I like how it goes along with the vintage theme of the card.  If you have time, please join us and create your own card based on this sketch.

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up product to make this card:

Fresh Vintage and Kindness Matters Stamp Sets
Poppy Parade and Early Espresso Classic Inks
Very Vanilla, Poppy Parade, Soft Suede and Early Espresso Card Stock
Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper
3/8" Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon
Modern Label, Postage Stamp, and Circle Punches

Now, check out the card Deb Currier made with this sketch at http://www.artfeltimpressions.blogspot.com/.  Then, create your own and share it with us at http://www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com/

SQSC26 Outlined Occasions

Hello, Friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's day.  My valentine is short, red, a little lover boy and likes to give kisses whether it's Valentine's Day or not!  We had a very nice, quite evening (perfect because we have a busy week and a half coming up!) at home.  I ate a couple pieces of chocolate and he ate a bone in the shape of a heart.  A good Valentine's Day was had by all at my house!
My card is based on the Stampin' Queens sketch for this week.  I flipped it on it's side, but still followed the same basic sketch.  I thought it turned out well.  It features another Stampin' Up Sale-a-bration set.  Free stamps are the best!

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up supplies to make this card:

Outlined Occasions Stamp Set
Wild Wasabi Classic Ink

Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi and Chocolate Chip Card Stock

SSC241 and LNS Girly Girl Challenge Hello, Doily!

Hello, Friends!

You know the feeling when you're a day late and a dollar short?  Well, that's what prompted this card.  I actually made a family member a birthday card a couple of weeks ago so I would be able to send it in plenty of time.  I was so proud of myself.  Then, life got insanely busy (as it often does) and I didn't mail it.  So close and yet sooo far away.

So, now I have a "belated" birthday card to send instead of an "on time" birthday card to send.  You can see the first card on my blog on Wednesday.  This card was designed by following Stampin 411's sketch for this week.  It also fits the Girl challenge on Late Night Stampers.  With all the pinks, it's definitely girly!

Happy Stamping!
(and happy mailing after you stamp)

SFF Sprinkled Expressions with Twitterpated DSP

Hello, Friends!

It's Sketch Frenzy Friday time!  I love today's sketch which was designed by Deb Currier.  I used a new favorite stamp set, Sprinkled Expressions which I also featured on Wednesday's card.  I also used one of my new favorite papers, Twitterpated, which I can't get enough of (in case you didn't notice that it's been used on a lot of my cards lately!)  This can be a Valentine's day card or I may just hang onto it for a while and send it to someone who needs it.

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up supplies to make this card:

Sprinkled Expressions Stamp set and Hello, Doily Background Stamp

SQSC24 Sprinkled Expressions

Hello, Friends!

Can you believe it's February 1st?  2012 is moving right along!
Today is my parent's 42nd wedding anniversary!  My Mom asked me if I could believe they've been married that long.  I told her, "no, I can't but I can't believe I'm as old as I am either!"
Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad!
Love,
Angela and Frank

Today's card is for our Stampin' Queens Sketch Challenge 24.  I love the happy look of the Sale-a-bration Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper and Stamp Set, Sprinkled Expressions.  Even the ribbon comes from a Sale-a-bration pack so everything matches!

As someone who is very particular about things matching (you can ask my Dad about my need for sets), I love that everything Stampin' Up does matches.  Ribbon, Paper, Ink, Brads and more are all the same colors so they all go together.  That makes my whole face smile!

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

Sprinkled Expressions Stamp Set
Poppy Parade and Basic Black Classic Inks
Very Vanilla, Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade and Pool Party Card Stock
Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper
2011-2013 In Color Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack
Circle Scissor Plus
Scallop Circle #2 Die
Big Shot
3/8" Lucky Limeade Ribbon
Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad Pack
