Hello, Friends!
It's time for a Sketch Frenzy Friday sketch. This one is by Kim Innis. I thought I was following it closely, but when I returned to my computer with my completed card, it wasn't quite as close as I had thought! Oops! Well, that's the great thing about sketches. You can follow them closely or use them as a great jumping off point.
Either way, this turned out to be a simple and sweet, traditional Christmas card. It's cuter in person because you can see the stocking is put on with Stampin' Dimensionals and sticks out from the card. The brad and Baker's Twine also add more dimension. It's not as "flat" as it all looks in the picture.
Happy Holidays and
Happy Stamping!
I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:
Stitched Stockings and Holiday Happiness Stamp Sets
Cherry Cobbler and Lucky Limeade Classic Inks
Whisper White, Riding Hood Red, Lucky Limeade, and Always Artichoke Card Stock
2011-2013 In Colors Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack
3/8" Cherry Cobbler Quilted Satin Ribbon
Cherry Cobbler/White Baker's Twine
Regals Brads
Stocking Builder Punch
Frame, Oval Scallop
Big Shot
Now check out Deb Currier's blog at http://www.artfeltimpressions.blogspot.com/ and see the card she created with this sketch. Then, create your own card and show us at http://www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com/.
