Hello! Welcome to the June 2011 VC Rocks Blog Hop. This month, we're all featuring projects we made using our Big Shot Machine. You can start at the beginning of the hop to see all of our projects at http://www.vcrocks.blogspot.com. If you've been following the hop, you probably came from Heidi Sorg's blog, http://www.cheekiesinkpad.blogspot.com/.
I decided to use a lot of my favorites to make this card. I used the "Tasteful Trim" Bigz Big Shot die to make the waves. It reminds me of a quilt you would find in a little girl's bedroom. "Tasteful Trim" is definitely one of my favorite Stampin' Up dies and can be used for a lot of different looks. I also chose to use our new In Colors for 2011. I love how they are so tranquil looking when placed together. The sentiment stamp from "All Holidays" is another one of my favorites. It will soon be retired so I wanted to make at least one more card with it!
After the hop, be sure to break out your Big Shot and make a card featuring your favorites with it!
Happy Stamping!
I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:
All Holidays and Itty Bitty Bits Stamp Sets
Island Indigo and Wisteria Wonder Stampin' Write Markers
Versa Mark Ink Pad
Whisper White, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Island Indigo, and Wisteria Wonder Card Stock
Big Shot

Frank, you and your mom did a great job on this card. Makes me glad I got this die for my BD gift from SU. I feel a CASE coming on.

Angela, love what you did with the die in creating those waves -- how much fun is that? TFS

Oh. My. Goodness. Those jumbo ricrac ruffles are fantastic, Angela! So pretty. . . .
I love that die but I don't have it. Love the different colors you used for the trim.

Clever idea to use the in colors together like this. They do look very tranquil together. Thanks for sharing your idea.
Wasn't interested in that die, but may have to give it another look! TFS!
