It's been a long week in Chandler, Arizona. Yesterday, there was a shooting at our mall which led to a hostage standoff in a restaurant nearby. Thankfully, it ended without anyone being hurt.
With all of that, it might seem odd that I would make a joyful looking card with happy colors. We've heard it said before, but life is short. We tend to think we have all the time in the world with our loved ones. The truth is that change and loss can happen in an instant.
So, enjoy the flowers and the butterflys. Let the people you are thinking of know it.
With thoughts and prayers for the many hurting today,
Angela
I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:
So Happy For You Stamp Set (soon to be available as a Sale-a-bration set)
Whisper White, Peach Parfait, and Pear Pizzaz Card Stock
Sunny Garden Designer Series Paper
Gold Brads
1/2" Poppy Parade Stitched-Poly Ribbon
Now visit Deb's blog for another great card based on this sketch.
