Stampin' It Up For Friday!

Oh, be glad you were not at my house when I started to make this card.
It's Thursday night. Sketch Frenzy FRIDAY is waiting for my attention.
"I'm sooo tired." I was whining to myself in my head.
"I don't even know what to make. I don't know what set to use.
I can't find my punch for some words at the top."
Oh, it was so sad.

I tried to think of a good excuse to not do it, but there wasn't one.
I have given my word to make a card a week, so make a card, I would do.

"What color do I never use? Orange" I answered to myself because I rarely use orange.
So I got out my new color coach and turned to Tangerine Tango.
Also promising to use my Color Coach to make myself stretch, I flipped it over.
"Great. I don't even like these colors!" I whined.
I'm not an 'orange' person and I didn't like Tempting Turquoise and Old Olive with it.
But, if I used it, I would be one step closer to going to bed.

"Punched Posies is cute. I'll use it." I thought.
Then I stamped the little flowers in Tangerine Tango, layered it on Old Olive and put it next to my Tempting Turquoise background.

Something happened! My Stamping Heart Grew THREE Sizes That Day!

I was no longer the Grinch of Stampin' Up!

I LOVE IT!

Like that the whining was gone. (more or less- I am still tired, after all.)
A few more stamps and a few more punches and here is my creation.
I never would have made it without my Color Coach and this sketch!

Now, if you're whining, knock it off and go stamp! Put it on your blog and call it a night. :)
Check out Brenda Taylor's blog next on your tour of Sketch Frenzy Friday today!

The following Stampin Up supplies were used while whining...
I mean making this card:
"Punched Posies" clear stamps and "Sanded" background stamp
Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive,
and Daffodil Delight Classic Inks
Whisper White, Old Olive, and Tempting Turquoise Card Stock
