You Brighten My Day Gingerbread Houses

Hello, Friends!

I couldn't sleep last night and for some reason, this card popped into my head.  From the first time I saw this little house from Stampin' Up that could be punched out with the arrow punch, I knew I wanted it.  I thought it looked just like a gingerbread house.

You'd have thought when I saw the blog Merry Monday Christmas Challenge was having a challenge for cards with houses on them six days ago, I would have thought of this immediately.  I didn't.  In fact, the challenge ends in about a half an hour and I'm rushing to get my card on my blog so I can enter it.  Sometimes, insomnia can be beneficial- I've thought of a couple of cards now in the middle of the night.  If only this one had come a day or two earlier, it would have been a big help!
Creativity is good.  No matter when it comes!

Happy Stamping!

I used the following products to make this card:

You Brighten My Day Stamp Set by Stampin' Up
Pure Innocence Christmas Stocking Girl Stamp Set by My Favorite Things
Frost White Pigment Ink by Color Box
Solar White 110 lb Card Stock by Neenah
Cajun Craze Card Stock by Stampin' Up
White Opaque Finish Embossing Powder by Zing!
What's Up Punch by Stampin' Up
This Is The Life Frames Craft Dies by Simon Says Stamp
Hedgehugs Lawn Cuts Dies by Lawn Fawn
Pierced Flags STAX Die-namics by My Favorite Things

I think I made it in time!

Cute card, and adorable dog. You had stopped by my blog earlier and commented on my dog, so you know I just had to come check out yours. Dachshund! Adorable.

You are so clever to use the houses as gingerbread houses, so cute! Thanks for playing with us this week at Merry Monday!
