SFF Summer Silhouettes

Hello, Friends!

It's Sketch Frenzy Friday!  For my card, I used a new product I hadn't used before- Washi Tape!  Have you tried it?  It is so much fun and sooo easy to use!  It's also cheap!  It's just $4.95 for 3 different rolls.  Both the yellow and pink stripes are washi tape.  It works just like regular scotch tape.  You just peel it off the roll and it sticks to the paper.  It's not completely see through, but you can see through it a little bit.  If you haven't tried it, you must get some soon!  There are varieties in the Stampin' Up 2013-2014 catalog and the brand new Holiday Catalog that just started on August 1st!

Be sure to check out www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com to see other cards created with this sketch!

Happy Stamping!

I used the following Stampin' Up products to make this card:

Summer Silhouettes and Banner Greetings Stamp Sets
Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Garden Green Classic Inks
Whisper White and Melon Mambo Card Stock
Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape
Deco Labels Collection Framelits
Big Shot
Stampin' Dimensionals

Oh, I agree that washi tape is so much fun to use!! It tears easily by hand and you can pull it up and replace it somewhere else!! Try covering a leftover square of cardstock with washi tape. Really mix the coordinating colors while covering your paper. It just needs to be big enough of a piece to cut a shape with the Big Shot or favorite punch. I love how you get something different each time. For a YouTube video look up Stamping on the Back Porch where Karen Titus has a couple of great how-to videos on the subject.
